Let Them Eat Cake
I want to just preface this by stating that I was aiming to get this post out earlier.
Happy New Year to all! I can not believe 2016 is upon us. I must say 2015 was incredible. I spent a semester in New York, two weeks in Chicago, and two weeks in Los Angeles. I met many interesting people during my city explorations (all are featured in the films seen on my videos page).
Although 2015 was incredible and definitely a year I hope to never forget, I am even more excited for 2016.
The possibilities with this new year are endless. Many exciting adventures are going to happen. Perhaps the most surreal adventure is the fact that I leave for college. I can not wait to see what happens. I hope to tell more stories this year and I aim to do more with my site.
I had this random idea at midnight on New Years Eve that I should take photos to celebrate the new year. Then I saw a cake. Thus, “Let Them Eat Cake” was born! I asked my friend Olivia to let me smash a cake on her face and we took photos. Here are some for now.
I am so excited that I started the year off taking photos. I can not wait to write and share more of my work. I have been frequently updating my site and I have planned so many explorations for this year.
