Short Film: What's On Your Mind?

Hello friends!

Week one is officially over in Chicago for me. I am in Chicago for a figure drawing and film program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and to visit my friend Rachel. This week I have drawn for three hours each morning, studied film in the afternoon, explored a few neighborhoods, and created a stop motion film within a very limited time. But wait there's more... Next week will be even more busy because I have two final projects due next week for each course. I thought I would just share my stop motion film called "What's On Your Mind?"

The film is very different from what I usually express. Feel free to share any thoughts!

Photo Series: "Deadline"

Hello all!

This summer has been an extremely busy one for me. Just yesterday I got back from a two week digital photography program in LA and, nearly after a short 24 hours in Dallas, I have arrived in Chicago. I thought that this was a great way to share with you what I presented in an art gallery in LA. The program I attended at UCLA gave us a week and five days to create a final product to present in a very lovely art gallery at the Broad Art Center.

Using the anxiety of a short deadline as inspiration, I created a photo series called "Deadline." The series focused on the time and process it took my peers and I to create a final product. The space was set up in a corner with a monitor to play a short film I created.

Until my next post
